In spring 2005, Myob decided to produce a CD album with original songs. This lead to the band regularly meeting at their project studio for arranging songs for this album.
The two years to follow saw them submerged in carefully developing the songs in detail until they were finally recorded at Gateway Records Studio, with a little help from close friends and fellow-musicians.
Markus Wagner (who also did the pictures for the booklet) designed all the album cover artwork.
Life isn't fair or so they say
the expression stuck in my mind to make my day
embark on a journey in a red train car
close the door and off we go to places that far
Do you still see your life as an eternal train ride?
Do you still see your life as an eternal train ride?
Everything is gonna turn out fine
a light-blue train car is waiting by the line
can't stand the expression 'cause it's just not true
been blinded by the wealth – now I see you through
Do you still see your life as an eternal train ride?
Do you still see your life as an eternal train ride?
One little train car ain't ready for the ride
it's there by the platform waiting by my side
I'm still green with envy but can't take no more
don't know what the green car is still waitin' for
Do you still see your life as an eternal train ride?
Do you still see your life as an eternal train ride?
Keep it up, keep it up
ride on the rhythm of
creation's colourful reverberation
Open up, open up
You are a vital part of
creation's colourful reverberation
Breaking the silence
Breaking from sorrow
a steady flow of inspiration
open up, open up
Speed it up, speed it up
the world is turning faster
spin the globe – increase its revolutions
give in to, give in to
the power that you feel from
hair-raising, lightning-speed revolution
Interlude
And he shall judge among the nations,
and shall rebuke many people:
and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares,
and their spears into pruninghooks:
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore Isaiah 2.
And you'll find yourself in the middle of a town square
and it rages on
And you'll find yourself in the middle of nowhere
and it rages on
And there is no clue to what's in store
and it rages on And your head is swimming - can't take no more
and it rages on
Black Raven Come
I come undone
Black Raven Come
I come undone
And you'll find yourself deep inside a dark well
and it rages on
And you'll find yourself with thugs that won't tell
and it rages on
And there is no one to tell your tale
and it rages on
Just a worthless life that's bound to fail
and it rages on
Do you feel the age of a new moon rising?
can't you see the tide is turning?
time is up to break the chains
don't you understand better times are comin'
face of universal love emerging
something's lifted from your shoulders
something must have been in your way
you're trapped in the dungeons of your past
why is it so hard to clear that road?
it's not about a life that is full of vain
not the odds and bets to blame
not about winning a rat-race game
Tracking Tracy
Who would never walk by my side
Tracking Tracy
Who is telling me "good-bye"
Spending precious time in some roadside diner
on my trail of tears to find ya
keeps me going for a while
Rather feeling low on my batteries maybe
life's been rather hectic lately
will you please fill my truck?
You've been telling me a story of how I can
accomplish what I want
You see, the life I'm leading does not really
work the way I want
Is it like you wanna show me how to get
from rags to richez fast
Did you ever think of having your way
when you think about the past
Did it really mean you had to suck up to
whoever came around
Did it really take to sell your soul to just
produce that killer sound
You could be my sound idol
if you just stay the way you are
You could be my sound idol
it's like you're taking it too far
Is there anything to teach me that will help
me catch up easily
What about the writing on the wall I see that seems
so Greek to me
Is it just about the clothes I wear or does my hairstyle
turn them on
Is it just about the tunes I play, the sleepy place that
I come from

the dark of the night calms
the pain that I'm feeling
The voices inside of my head
they keep calling your name
the dark of the night descends

Is the life, this is the life
I've been longing for (THIS IS THE LIFE)
This is the world, this is the world
I've been living for (THIS IS THE LIFE)
I've been around all of the time
Struggling on for more (THIS IS THE WORLD)
This is the world, this is the world
I've been living for
I feel safe and protected
(neglected no more, no more, no more)
I feel carefree and proud
(neglected no more, no more, no more)
This is the right, this is the right
I've been fighting for (THIS IS THE LIFE)
This is the time, this is the time
I've been waiting for (THIS IS THE LIFE)
Stuck to my guns all of the time
Washed upon the shore (THIS IS THE TIME)
This is the time, this is the time
I've been waiting for
How about being a loony figure?
affection by the crowd is what you trigger
the talk of the town with the kids on the block
deliver some pleasure so they can rock
Road-runners giving me a real hard time
some ACME explosives and they'll be mine
Messin' 'round with Bonzo is making me sick
A good can of spinach may do the trick
It's like living in the movies
Tweety sleeping next to me
It's like living in the pictures
Cow and Chicken dance with me
Morty and Ferdy making a mess
There is Minnie Mouse in some fancy dress
Chip and Dale have a good cup of tea
Save this dance for Donald and you'll be free
The fun that you're having
when hugging your girl
the heavenly choir goes on and on
The joy that you're getting
when squeezing your love
just rings in your ears like 'Lalala'
I can be your bouncing ball
Bedroom Rodeo
I can be your bouncing ball
Bedroom Rodeo
When you see the light
in the eyes of a lover
it seems like your heartbeat goes
When you feel the touch
of the skin of a lover
the liquid inside you goes wild
All performers on the album
Myob managed to enthuse some friends to perform on the album.
This is the right place to extend a big, big thank-you to you all...
"I was dreaming of my ex-girlfriend, when a loud noise broke the silence.
I opened my drowsy eyes, and through the tarnished window, what did I see? Another freight train, laden with cheap compacts from Far East - a heap of crap! Damn train!
Unfortunately, I couldn't afford better accommodation than this cheap station motel.
Isn't that a radio blaring somewhere? A jazz trumpet player was blowing his heart out.
Not bad, dude!
I dozed off again, when all of a sudden there was again some loud noise.
It sounded like a baby crying, strange and frightening!
2 black ravens were fighting over an animal corpse lying inanimately between the tracks.
It seemed unscathed, it seemed like it was sleeping. Hope death was instant.
The pitiable sight would not let me go back to sleep; I would half-heartedly browse the pages of a newspaper I had rescued from a waste bin...
A guy hanged himself... interesting story. Good-bye, Sunil! Hope you're better off now!
Tracy came to mind. Our "appointments" would always culminate in some extensive Bedroom Rodeo...
Last time, we played some music by her new Sound Idol, a queer guy with a voice like a Cartoon Figure during our "so-happy-to-see-you-again"!
Just imagine!!
Unfortunately, the guy completely turned me off. Dear diary, you'll easily guess what was to follow! I've never had this before!
This is the life, as Frankie always sang - or along these lines!
Oh, Tracy! Her last "good-bye" is still ringing in my ears.
Anyway - "scheissegal" (who cares a f...)! Tomorrow is another day.
Great work on this disc full of great song's. A very well crafted disc. Glad that it was not totally lost as it arrived via Indonesia. Thank's

When Werner turned up the first time with his
demo rough mixes at our studio, the entire
gosh team was immediately taken away.
We had finally come across a band with a
unique, original sound and inspired arrangements, with Anthony's distinct, charismatic voice on top. The boys in the band know what they want
(and especially what they don't want) and will
cut their own path 100%. Still, what was increasingly striking in the course of the 14-day mixing session:
who the hell is the 5th guy on the cover......?
My favourite tracks on this CD: 5,8,9
Stephan Kolber, gosh!_audio - Vienna/Austria -------------------------------------------------------

Great CD, My Other Brother strikes a bold note on this release. I don't cave easily to every CD I hear but this one grabbed me. My standards are high and this band reaches the mark. Bedroom Rodeo and Chet Set are my favs.
Dusty Durst, KCLC FM 89.1 - Rayne, Louisiana/USA -------------------------------------------------------

Very good CD. We love it here on The Upper Room Radio Show and we will continue to play it for sure.

I'm utterly surprised, you've been truly
'delivering the goods' with your new album.
Tone has also done a surprisingly good job.
I think the recordings and the mix are fantastic. 'Chet Set' has turned out really nice.
And the string arrangement is really cool. The chorus could be a bit stronger there, I'd imagine some children's choir in there...but still, great work, it's paid off already.
Roman, The Woodsticks – Lower A./Austria -------------------------------------------------------
Fantastic album, I have to say again. I'm so happy for Fred and the whole band that you managed to put out an album that's such a bit hit! I also know the story behind the scenes, you know. I'm eager to listen to the songs performed live then.
Hans, musician – Lower Austria, Austria -------------------------------------------------------
I've ended up listening to the entire album again and again...and I'm still discovering new, nice neat things in there...still a thrill for me, I think it's really good :-)
I'm looking forward to your CD presentation showcase!
